At Active Construction, we dedicate ourselves to being a low cost, quality producer on each project. This is accomplished through our Work Smart program which assures continuous open communication, detailed project planning and effective coordination.

FMI, a leading construction industry consultant, and Active Construction, Inc., worked together to develop this program:

Worksmart	We analyze all work in detail to access crew performance and productivity.
Pre-job Planning	We rigorously plan your project on paper before job start-up including scope of work items, a summary of the estimate, and what materials and equipment are necessary.
Daily Huddles	The crew and foremen meet every day with emphasis on high production rates with no injuries, no punchlist and zero defects.
Measurement	On each job we routinely measure every activity and discuss it with the crew to determine areas of improvement.
Weekly Job Coordination Meetings	The project manager and foremen meet weekly to review owner concerns, obstacles, production, schedule and plan the attack for the following week.
Equipment Utilization Meeting	The project manager, superintendents and operations manager meet each week to analyze each job's equipment needs.
Post Job Review	The project managers, superintendents, foremen, operations manager and estimator completely review the job.
