Active Construction, Inc. is concerned about the safety and health of each member of Active's team as well as the welfare of the general public.  Our goal is to have accident free worksites at all times.

We are certified as a State Labor & Industries and Associated General Contractors approved Safety Contractor with a mod factor well below the industry standard.  Full time Safety Director, Mike Draper,  manages and administrates our entire safety program from documentation to training and reporting.
  • Certified and approved safety contractor with the Department of Labor & Industries and the AGC of Washington.
  • Three-year Washington State Experience Rating below the construction industry standard of 1.  Active's Experience Rating has never been above 1. 
    Current Experience Rating: .7235.
  • Enrolled in the Building Industry Association of Washington's Retrospective Rating program with successful returns each year.  Active has commenced it's fifth year if involvement in the restrospective program.

  • Pro-active approach to jobsite safety entailing flex and strecth excersizes for on-site crews to "warm up".
  • Independent safety department oversees all operations headed by our Safety & Claims Director who is certified as a Washington State Self-Insured Claims Manager and is OSHA 500 certified.
