Location: MAPLE VALLEY, WA TAHOMA HIGH SCHOOL

Contract: $6.6 Million
Description: Project includes development of associated athletic fields, student parking, bus parking and circulation, visitor parking, site access roads and miscellaneous site amenities. ACI has also had offsite work making utilities tie in connection, roads improvements, adding access roads and work on new roundabouts. The completed project will be the largest high school in Washington State, with 315,000 square feet of instructional space.  It will have an enrollment capacity of 2,400, which allows ninth grade to be moved into the high school, eliminating significant overcrowding across the district.  The current Tahoma High has more than 1,600 students in grades 10-12.  The building will have multiple uses in addition to being a comprehensive high school during the day it will also provide community access for learning and training at night and in the summer.
